Nintendo's recently released financial statements, current as of June 2026, showcase an updated ranking of their top-selling software, prominently featuring a familiar title on the Switch 2 best-seller list.

The extensively named 'Super Mario Party Jamboree - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV' has achieved remarkable success, with 1.15 million copies sold. This milestone is particularly noteworthy because these figures exclusively account for physical sales of the NSW2 Edition, deliberately omitting any digital copies. This sales performance is even more impressive given the game's premium retail price of $79.99 / £66.99, underscoring its significant appeal to consumers.

Jamboree TV now joins 'Pokémon Legends Z-A', which has sold 3.99 million units, as one of only two Switch 2 Edition titles to break the million-seller mark on the console's six-game top-seller list. 'Mario Kart World' currently holds the leading position with 15.38 million sales, although this figure incorporates both physical and digital purchases, including those bundled with launch-period Switch 2 hardware. Notably, 'Super Mario Party Jamboree' for the original Switch, launched in October 2024, had already achieved nearly 10 million sales by March 2026. This ongoing success suggests that Nintendo is unlikely to abandon physical media distribution in the foreseeable future, unlike some industry counterparts.

This continued strong performance of physical game sales demonstrates the enduring demand for tangible gaming experiences among Nintendo's audience. It reinforces the notion that high-quality, engaging titles, even at a premium price, can achieve substantial commercial success, solidifying their place in the competitive gaming market.
